Abstract
In this talk, we'll introduce Biarri as a company, talk about what commercial mathematics involves, the challenges it brings, and some of the different projects we work on.
Biography
Robin and Yannik studied their undergraduate degrees at UQ, including honours projects in the maths department. After some time working at CSIRO, they studied under Michael Forbes to attain their PhDs in Operations Research, before going on to work at Biarri as commercial mathematicians.
